Nevil Foundation is a non-profitable trust started in July 2020 and has social work and professional objectives. Nevil Foundation works towards the goal of improving awareness amongst the masses on burning social issues and social problems. The trust not only finds the socio-economic problems it also finds a way to resolve them and also gives professional planning for providing services. Our NGO provides a good relationship among the people of society and ensures thinking creatively to overcome problems. Our area of operation is in Tumukur District, Karnataka. Aims and Objectives: 1. To evolve participatory, gender-sensitive, and equitable approaches for the empowerment of women and men. 2. To conceptualize and implement training programs for the empowerment of women, men, and communities at large. 3. Development, dissemination, diffusion, and advancement of education and knowledge and research in areas related to the objects of the trust including grants of fellowships and scholarships to students and researchers. 4. To take programs on Rain Water Harvesting Systems and Groundwater preservation.

We have conducted skill-oriented training for students of Sri Umapragathi First Grade College for getting a good job in the job market in Sep 2021. The training elements such as eloquence, confidence, quality aiming and skills needed to be employed, through training in activities, as well as employment opportunities and your talents and our volunteering and free participation in the Smart work especially in training, was a worthwhile task.
Nevil has been continuously working with the communities for generating and sensitizing women, youth, children, and other members of the community on health education. NEVIL conducted Street plays and lectures on the effects of smoking during World’s Tobacco Day Participated with the District Health Department of Tumkur district in the pulse polio program. NIRANTHARA has been continuously working with the communities for generating and sensitizing women, youth, children and other members of the community on health education.
Distributed Food and Health Kits
COVID-19 has exacerbated hunger and poverty worldwide, especially in India. The crisis highlights the importance of putting relief directly into the hands of vulnerable people. Solutions must address both immediate food insecurity and provide livelihood opportunities so as to break the cycle of hunger and poverty. During the first wave of COVID-19, migrant laborers made headlines. But in the second, the shortage of vaccines and oxygen cylinders took over the news cycle. Thus, the critical need for food among the poor was left overlooked when it needed an overhaul. The poor, who were unsure where their next meal would come from, could not even remain home to protect themselves from the contagion. We identified poor families through our volunteer teams who are working on the ground
Initiatives on HIV/AIDS Activities
Networking with Various organizations for capacity building of HIV-positive people in Bangalore & Tumkur district. Nevil Foundation in partnership with Chiranthana has been supporting positive people in their efforts to network and build support groups among themselves. ● Qualified staff of NIRANTHARA offers counseling services regularly to Positive people (individual and group counseling ● Health and Social Education Programs ● Developing IEC materials on HIV/AIDS ● Planning and Implementing effective methods of sensitizing and awareness programmes on HIV/AIDS through Street plays, Demonstration of condom usage, Distribution of information broachers, Jaathas and Rallies, Lectures, Interactions, Counseling (Individual, Group and Family) Income Generation Activities and Entrepreneurship Development Program Projects being Implemented NEVIL Foundation believes in the need for economic strengthening of rural men and women for national development and we believe that this could be achieved through Capacity building and alternative approaches for generating income and resources for sustainable growth and development.
Drawing Competition for Children
Nevil conducted a drawing activities program on Aug 2021 at government school children in Antharasana Halli, our event was held to enhance the talents of the children in the Intersection by incorporating drawing. The program convinced the Nevil Foundation that such children needed to be recognized for their potential in this society if the children who participated in the program were truly talented and provided the right platform.
